The date :   Saturday, September 27, 2008 for celebrating the  55th anniversary of the Class of 1953 graduation from CGHS/Bishop Conaty High School.

The place :  The Plum Tree Inn in Chinatown at  913 N. Broadway, LA  90012.   Ample free valet parking.  http://www.plumtreeinnrestaurant.com/directions

The hours :  11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The cost:      $20

Fundraiser :   50/50 Raffle with funds to be split between one winner and the Conaty Development Fund.   Tickets will be $1 each.

• Invitations will be mailed to all classmates as soon as the class roster is provided by Conaty (that will be when graduation/end of school activities are over).   In the meantime, please forward to your buddy email list.
• FYI  -- Mary Spalding Venerable plans to produce a CD that will contain a selection from each of the videos she has filmed at previous reunions and make copies available as a fund raiser after cost.  We will view a sample at the luncheon.
• Everyone is  welcome to make suggestions for the "program for the day," or just bring a memento from your Conaty days.
• Incidentally, Judy Krommer, Conaty Development Director, says mark Saturday March 7, 2009   on your calendar as the day for Conaty's big fundraiser at Santa Anita Race Track.
