I’m Mrs. Barragan. I teach Spanish and I'm also the moderator of Cultura Club and Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica “Xel-ha”. I was born and raised in Mexico City which is where I got my BA from the Mexican University we call UNAM. I came to this country to work as a teaching assistant at the University of Southern California's Spanish and Portuguese Department while studying for my Master’s Degree in Spanish Literature. Soon after I joined the faculty of Bishop Conaty-Loretto High School, I earned my Master’s Degree in Education and my California Single Subject Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University. I love teaching Spanish and hope to plant the seed of knowledge of my wonderful native language in all my students' hearts.
